Chhavi Khanna

Experience
I completed my clinical psychology training from India’s first and Asia’s third best mental health institute, NIMHANS during which time I worked as a trainee for two years on various placements (adult and older mental health, child and adolescent mental health, family therapy unit, physical health and neuropsychology and rehabilitation settings). Following the completion of my clinical training in 2007, I worked at Hinduja hospital and privately with different psychiatrists, in Mumbai and Delhi, for five years before moving to New Zealand in 2013.
In addition to part-time private work, I am currently employed as a Clinical Psychologist for Waikato DHB Mental Health Service for Older People and memory service.
I have been associated with the Waikato university clinical training program.
